The café operating system

Run your whole café.
From one place.

MILK is a modular café operating system. Till, ordering, rostering, stock and loyalty — one system, one login, one bill. Built for cafés tired of stitching seven subscriptions together to get through a Saturday.

No lock-in. 14-day free trial. Start with the POS, add what you need.

The problem 01 / 06

Seven logins to sell a flat white.

Most cafés run on seven or more separate apps — a till, a reporting add-on, rostering, a time clock, loyalty, online ordering, stock — each with its own bill, its own login, and none of them talking to each other.

MILK started after years inside a small QSR group living that frustration every day. The fix isn't another POS. It's one system built to replace that pile, so the numbers from the till, the roster and the stockroom finally add up in one place.

The modules 02 / 06

One base, four add-ons.
Pick what you need.

Every café starts with the POS. Add the modules that fit your operation. Stop paying for things you don't use.

01

Point of Sale

The base.
The iPad till, kitchen screens, back office and reports — with card payments through your own EFTPOS terminal.
02

Mobile Ordering

Free until Feb 2027.
Order and pay by QR, at the table or for counter pickup, on a page that looks like your café.
03

Team & Rostering

The team, sorted.
Rosters, a staff app, clock in and out — and wage cost against sales, hour by hour.
04

Loyalty & Marketing

Bring them back.
Stamps or points with tiers on top, and offers sent to exactly the regulars you pick.
05

Stock & Cost Control

What it really costs.
Stocktakes, invoice scanning, recipe costing and the true margin on every item.

Start with POS, add only what you need. Modular pricing — pay for the bits you use.

The AI layer 03 / 06

AI that earns its keep.

Sales forecasting comes with every plan. MILK Intelligence is coming as an add-on — and because it reads across every module you run, it gets sharper the more of MILK you use.

In every plan — forecasting

Know what today should look like.

Your sales forecast by the day, built from your own trading and scored against what actually happened, so you can see how far to trust it. Every number traces back to the sales behind it — and when it hasn't seen enough of your café yet, it tells you so.

Coming soon — the add-on

An assistant manager for your café.

Draft rosters and supplier orders built from your own trading, and the experienced second-in-command a small café can't afford to hire — reading across sales, stock, staff and loyalty at once, and telling you what to do about it in plain English. It suggests, you decide.

A day in service 06 / 06

One café day. One system.

Software is easy to list and hard to picture. So here's an ordinary Saturday, and the bit of MILK that's doing the work at each hour of it.

5:45am

Open up.

First one in taps their name on the counter iPad and clocks on. The float goes in, the day starts, and the till is ready before the grinder is.

Team & Rostering · POS
7:20am

The queue arrives.

Rush Mode turns the till into a coffee lane — arm the size and the milk once, then every tap fires. Orders land on the station screen as they're rung, timers climbing so nothing sits.

POS · Display screens
9:30am

Table six orders from the table.

They scan the QR, read a menu written in your words rather than the till's — with your photos, on a page that looks like your café — pay with Apple Pay, and the order joins the same queue as everything else. The money goes straight into your own Stripe account.

Mobile Ordering
11:00am

A regular gets their tenth coffee.

Their card is on their phone, the reward comes off in two taps — and because the comp is recorded as a discount, you can see what loyalty earns you and what it costs you.

Loyalty & Marketing
12:40pm

Four friends split the bill.

Evenly, or by amount — part cash, part card, as many cards as they like. Each card gets its own receipt, and if something needs refunding later, it goes back to each card the way it was paid.

POS · EFTPOS
1:15pm

The milk invoice arrives, and oat has gone up.

Take a photo of it and MILK reads the lines. The new price flows through to every recipe that uses oat milk, and your margins show which drinks just slipped under the target you set.

Stock & Cost Control
3:40pm

The owner checks in from somewhere else.

Today's takings, where the day is heading against target, and what's selling best — on a phone, without ringing the café to ask.

Manager app
4:30pm

Next week's roster goes out.

Publish it and your team can see their shifts, who they're on with and a pay estimate in the MILK staff app. Time off gets asked for there too — not by text at 10pm.

Team & Rostering
5:30pm

Cash up and close.

Count the drawer once. Card, cash, tips, surcharge and any cash out are reconciled against the terminal batch, and the day is closed off — not re-keyed into something else at 9pm.
